This week we’ve added a new element to the Clever Never Goes schools resources. As well as the teacher’s guidance and classroom slides, we’re inviting schools to run a “Make a Model” competition.
The idea is that children make a model of CLEVER the robot at home – using whatever materials they like – and bring them into school for a winning entry to be selected. We’re hoping this will provide another means of ensuring that the Clever Never Goes message comes to the attention of parents as well as schools.
Photographs of the models can be sent into the charity (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we’ll feature them on our social media channels.
It also provides an opportunity for schools to raise some funds for the charity, although this is entirely voluntary of course!
We’ve produced a template letter for schools to send to parents that is available in the resources section of the Schools page. (Schools that have already signed up for the resources can go back to the resources page by clicking on the link in the welcome email – any problems, please just drop us a line at email@example.com).
We can’t wait to see the results!!
We urgently need your help to continue making resources available to parents and schools
