Predators manipulating Prime giveaways to lure in youngsters

News articles across the country are raising awareness about how predators are using ‘Prime giveaways’ to lure in innocent children, and how parents can protect their children from dangerous encounters on the internet. We are very grateful to The Sun for raising attention to this problem.
Trending internet celebrities Logan Paul and KSI created Prime Hydration recently and it began a craze, breaking the internet and selling out almost immediately. Unfortunately the drink is now been used to lure in young children and parents concerns are increasing rapidly.
Geoff Newiss, director of Action Against Abduction told The Sun: “Traditionally we’ve always thought about abduction happening outdoors – a man driving round trying to lure a child into a car with the promise of sweets…But online forums have really changed the nature of these offences…The important thing to remember is that simply warning children about strangers is probably not going to do the job.”
This is where #CleverNeverGoes really comes in to assist. The campaign aims to educate children of the dangers of strangers both online and in the real world.
Parents can use the Clever Never Goes tools to teach their children at home and teachers can incorporate our resources into their lessons to ensure children are learning the importance of being aware of who they are talking to, meeting with and chatting to on the internet.
