Today our new JUNIOR version of Clever Never Goes has gone live for schools, police and martial arts providers to download. The Junior version has been re-designed for older primary age children, and features 13 new safety practice scenarios, including four online scenarios.
The original resources have been renamed the INFANT programme (for children aged 4 to 7), with the JUNIOR programme designed for 7 to 11 year-olds.
We know that many schools have enjoyed delivering the original version to older children too. And it’s fine to continue to do that if you prefer. For children that have already had the original version the new JUNIOR programme offers a way of re-engaging them with new material and safety practice scenarios.
A huge thank you to players of People’s Postcode Lottery (and the People’s Postcode Trust) for supporting this work bringing Clever Never Goes to even more children. Thank you also to all the schools that participated in the development phase and pilot – your contributions have been invaluable.
